Butterworth, Jr. of Philadelphia, PA; his stepchildren, Chrissy Shallcross (William) and Joseph Keyes (Nilda); and his grandchildren, Kyle, Kory, Kolin, Ryan, Nicholas, Alexa, Dylan, Joseph, Luciano and Michael. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.

The family suggests those who desire send memorial contributions in his name to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
