He was predeceased by : his wife Judy (Strouse); his parents, John Dolan and Eleanor Dolan (Lamson); his father-in-law Frank Strouse; and his brother John Dolan.

He is survived by : his daughters, Holly (Schaffer) and Barbara (Anderson); his sons-in-law, George and Aidan; his grandsons, Elliott Schaffer, Evan Schaffer, Jude Anderson and Finn Anderson; his mother-in-law Roberta Strouse; his sister Patricia Falzarano; his brother-in-law Bob Falzarano; and his nieces and nephews, John Dolan, Amy Jarvis (Falzarano), Melissa Breheny (Dolan) and Mary Falzarano.
