He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert H. Sweet, Sr. and Theresa Symington Sweet of Washington Crossing, PA.. He is survived by : his wife Janet Vislocky Sweet of Whitehouse Station, NJ; his children, Matthew J. Sweet (Megan) of Bloomfield, NJ and Brina L. Sweet (David Grenyer) of Doylestown; and his grandchildren, Eric, Laina Grenyer, Oskar and Isaac Sweet.

Due to COVID restrictions extended family and religious services will be held at a future date.
