Edward James McNamara Obituary
In loving memory of Edward James McNamara of Surf City, New Jersey, born in Brooklyn, New York, who departed this world on October 17, 2025 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward McNamara and Rose McNamara; and his sister Rosemary Orosch. He is survived by: his friends, Joann Tomao and Edward; his wife Joann; his daughters, Lynne Tierney (Terrence) and Christine Bissell (Thomas); his grandsons, Tyler (Caitlyn), James (Maggie) and Kevin (Emily); and his sister-in-law Dolores Smith Dooley. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, close extended family and great friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bugbee-Riggs Funeral Home- Ship Bottom (1119 Long Beach Blvd, Ship Bottom, NJ 08008). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Mary's of the Pines Church (100 Bishop Ln, Manahawkin, NJ 08050).
