He was predeceased by : his wife Violet M. Gould; his son Douglas Joseph Gould; his parents, Beatrice (Samuel Banta, Sr.) and Ernest R. Gould, Sr. (Wilhelmina); and his brothers, Percy Gould, Ernest R. Gould Jr. and Everett H. Gould Sr..
He is survived by : his daughters, Beatrice Van Etten (Clifford, III) of Wantage, Laurie Bannon (Ambrose) of Sussex and Robin Cosh (Chester) of Wantage; his siblings, Brice Gould (Nancy), Lawrence Gould (Margaret), Patricia Sweat (Laverne), Bessie Sarmiento (Hugo), Debra Gould (Philip Reiner), Gail Davis (Daniel), Patricia Mitchell, Pamela Stool and Sandy Cooke; his grandchildren, Patricia Krol (Andrew), Clifford Van Etten, IV, David Bannon (Jennifer), Christopher Bannon, Noel Cosh, Douglas Cosh (Brittany), Joseph Cosh (Ashley) and Bessie Cosh; and his great grandchildren, Kenna, Dylan, Riley, Callie, Connor Bannon, Olivia Norman, Madison, Hunter, Joey, Owen, Logan and Kayleigh Cosh.
