He was predeceased by : his parents, Antonios Economou and Maria Economou. He is survived by : his daughter Maria DiDomizio (Thomas); his granddaughter Evelyn; his sister Sophia Economou-Ellison (James); his niece Maria; and his nephew Andreas Economou-Ellison (Elaine Economou).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home in loving memory of Nikolaos.
