He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. DeBlock, Sr. and Elizabeth DeBlock (VanHoven); his sister Barbara Geisert; and his brother-in-law Peter VanDerVelde. He is survived by: his wife Mary (VanDerVelde); his children, Timothy DeBlock (Tracy Praml) of Oakland and Kathryn Cook (Ronald) of Oak Ridge; his siblings, Scott DeBlock (Heidi) of Scarborough, Maine and Joan Arfsten (Ted) of Leyland; his grandchildren, Thomas, Riley, Gabriella and Logan; and his in-laws, Ruth Weiss (Arthur) of Franklin Lakes, Paul VanDerVelde (Christine) of Mahwah and Lorraine VanDerVelde of Riverdale. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pinkel Funeral Home, Inc. (31 Bank St, Sussex, NJ 07461). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Old Clove Church (889 NJ-23, Wantage, NJ 07461). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the Clove Cemetery.
