She was loved and cherished by many people including : her children, Edward L Shaffer (Suzanne) and Elizabeth L. Shaffer; her grandchildren, Sarah, Maggie, Mason, Nathaniel and Caroline; her siblings, William O. Barber Jr., Edward H. Barber, Sr., Rose L. Brickner and Louisa Ponder; and her parents, Blanche M. Garrison and William O. Barber Sr.. She was also cherished by cousins, nieces and nephews.
