He was predeceased by: his wife Tina Palmisano; and his parents, Leonard Palmisano and Jennie Palmisano. He is survived by: his sisters, Esther M. Brinkers of Guttenberg and Anna J. King of Ramsey; and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer A. Bryson (Erik), John Brinkers (Michelle), Leonard Brinkers (Valeria), David C. King (Gina), Jennifer Lowe, Theresa Ramos and Christine Kalata. He is also survived by many grand-nieces, grand-nephews, first and second cousins, friends.

Memorial contributions in Cosmo's name can be made to Rutgers University or Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
