It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Gellert (Teaneck, New Jersey), who passed away on December 26, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leah and Irving; his brother Alvin; his brother-in-law Fred Steiner; and his son-in-law Peter Beronio.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kay" Gellert; his children, Daniel Gellert (Deborah Posey) of Aiken, SC, Sandy Roff (Terry Roff) of New Orleans, LA and Susan Gellert of Englewood, NJ.; his grandchildren, Jonah, Matthew, Rayna Gellert, Jesse, Brian Roff and Jayde Gellert Beronio; his great grandchildren, Florence and Duncan Roff; his nephew Jeffrey Gellert; and his nieces, Wendy Waldman and Jillian Sandrock. He is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
