It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James D. Mahoney of Teaneck, New Jersey, who passed away on June 11, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Anne Mahoney; and his brother Michael Mahoney. He is survived by: his daughters, Stacey Anne (New York), Toole and Kirsten (Joshua Stern); his grandson Tobias Seamus Stern (California); his brother Patrick Mahony (Canada); and his nieces and nephews, Karen Smith (Teaneck), Evelyn Gaynor (Chicago), Brian Mahoney (California), Charles, Christopher Mahony (Canada) and Alexander Gaynor (Massachusetts).
Thereafter, there will be a green burial (no flowers permitted) at Maryrest Cemetery, 770 Darlington Avenue, Mahwah. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation to your library of choice.
