He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Francisco Benitez and Luz Benitez; and his wife Victoria Benitez.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Volk Leber Funeral Home (789 Teaneck Rd, Teaneck, NJ 07666). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church (115 Fort Lee Rd, Bogota, NJ 07603).
