He was predeceased by: his daughter Kathleen Samaras; and his sibling George Samaras. He is survived by: his children, James C. Samaras (Barbara), Nick Samaras, Christine Picard (Kenneth) and Suzanne M. Carey (Lewis Serio); his grandchildren, Cheryl Massie, Carol Marelli and April Rucki; his wives, Kathleen Samaras and Ralph Christian; and also, Peter Samaras and Joseph Christian. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
