She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Macaluso (Day) and Dominick Macaluso; and her sister Valerie. She is survived by: her husband Benjamin Amato; her daughter Beth Pekar; her son-in-law Joe of Orlando, FL; her son Brian Amato; her daughter-in-law Tori of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Josie, Cody, Alex and Brooke; and her sisters-in-law, Marie (Cookie) and Diane (Dee). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to. Special Olympics, St. Jude or Alzheimer's Association.
