It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Franklin Ecks (Toms River, New Jersey), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on September 17, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Alma B. Ecks; and his siblings, George Ecks (Marilyn) and Florence White (David). He is survived by: his sons, Richard Ecks (Judith) of Manchester Twp and Philip G. Ecks (Darlene) of Jackson Twp; and his grandchildren, James Ecks, Marcie Such, Christine Ecks and Daniel Ecks. He is also survived by his 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Charles's memory to the Ocean County Animal Shelter, 615 Freemont Ave., Jackson, NJ 08527 and would be greatly appreciated.
