He was predeceased by: his wife Clementina; his parents, Antonio Perna and Jennie Perna; his sister Mary Perna; and his nephew Anthony DeRiggi.
He is survived by: his sister Lena DeRiggi; his brother-in-law Michael; and his sibling's children, Virginia O'Boyle (William), Joseph DeRiggi (Virginia), JoAnn Weigel (Brad), Michael DeRiggi (Maria) and Carolyn DeRiggi. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces.
