She was predeceased by: her husband Guillermo A. Mendoza; and her children, Leeroy Mendoza and Mildred Mendoza. She is survived by: her daughter Evelyn Mendoza (Gary Irving); her grandchildren, Rosemarie Mendoza Cortez, Erica Rodriguez-Jenkins (Tyshawn Jenkins), Rick Mendoza, Xavier Rodriguez, Nicole Irving and Ashley Palm; and her great grandchildren, Noah Cole Perez and Emerson Victoria Palm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rosa's name to Ronald McDonald House Charities Inc., 26345 Network Place, Chicago, IL 60673-1263.
