It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alva Breithaupt (Totowa, New Jersey), born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on May 2, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Malcolm "Mac" Breithaupt; and her brothers, John "Jack" Hunter, Edward Hunter and William Hunter. She is survived by: her children, Robert "Bob" Breithaupt (Bonnie) of Londonderry, NH, Leslie Breithaupt Marchesseault (Guy) of Boxford, MA and Janice Breithaupt (Jim DeLorenzo) of Philadelphia, PA.; her grandchildren, Kyle Marchesseault (Marisa Howe) of Newton, MA, Andrew Marchesseault (Analiese Wilcox Marchesseault) of Washington, DC and Meaghen Breithaupt (David Neiman) of Meriden, CT; and her great grandchildren, Eleanor "Ellie", Tyler, Johann and Lawrence "Laurie".
