He was predeceased by: his brother Robert Hessenius. He is survived by: his wife Ann Marie Seminerio of Totowa; his children, Kimberly Straface (Franco) of Totowa and Christian M. Hessenius II (Lindsay) of Little Falls; his grandchildren, Matteo Straface and Ava Carmela Hessenius; his sister Dawn Iorlano of Vernon; and his pet Mickey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and his beloved pet.
