He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carmela Filato; his children, Lorenzo Filato (Denise), Rocco Filato, Franco Filato, Annamarie Both (George), Angela Filato and Roseann Riccio (Marco); his siblings, Rocco Filato, Lorenzo Filato, Franco Filato, Rosa Bruna and Assunta Smeriglio; and his parents, Montreal and Totowa. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
