She was predeceased by: her husband John H. Doorn, Jr.; and her parents, George Trusak and Marie Trusak. She is survived by: her friend Tricia; her daughters, Allyson and Michele; her children-in-law, Calvin Burk and Ana Canseco; her granddaughters, Victoria O'Day (Shane Wood) and Samantha Burk; and her sister Marie Rhinehardt. She is also survived by her loving siblings-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy in Maryann's name are asked to consider one of two worthy charitable organizations: Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
