She was predeceased by : her husband Dr. Jogendra Prasad; and her siblings, Raj Kishore, Vidhya, Dharamveer, Indu, Pushpa and Arun.
She is survived by : her children, Dr. Sushma Verma of Fayetteville, NY, Shail Prasad (Angela) of Denville, NJ and Dr. Sadhana Prasad (Leigh Philbrick) of North Yarmouth, ME; her siblings, Veena Devi and Kiran Gupta; her grandchildren, Dr. Bianca A. Allison, Dr. Shawn Sunil Verma, Sasha Prasad, Kendra Prasad, Miranda Prasad, Victoria Prasad, Ian Prasad Philbrick, Maya Philbrick and Jay Philbrick; and her great grandchildren, Cora J. Allison, Jamie S. Allison and Ryan E. Allison.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the S. J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service (60 N Beverwyck Rd, Lake Hiawatha, NJ 07034).
