It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Johnson (Tuckerton, New Jersey), born in West Creek, New Jersey, who passed away on October 17, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Johnson Sr. and Evelyn Johnson; his sisters, Elizabeth Allen, Patricia Courtney and Ida Bozarth; and his daughter Sharon Senka.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his children, George H. Johnson III, Don Johnson (Missy), Thomas Johnson (Gina), David Johnson (Linda), Beverly Miranda (Robert), Cathleen Hammond (Roger) and Teri Michaud; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Sean, Gianna, Gabriella, Tori, Sophia, Adam, Erika, Nathan, Kayla, Kalina, Venus, Josh, Collin and Ashley. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wood Funeral Home (134 E Main St, Tuckerton, NJ 08087). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
