She is survived by: her son Matthew; her daughter-in-law Melanie Steel of Union Beach; her granddaughter Emily Steel of Union Beach; her sisters, Rose Levy of Florida, Shirley Wallitsch of Plainfield and Janie Siernos; her adoptive son Dan Couillard of South Plainfield; and her pets, Jade and Snowball. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
