He was predeceased by : his sister Beatrice Egnatowicz. He is survived by : his children, Frank (Valerie) of Hazlet, NJ, George of Toms River, NJ, Eugene of Union City, NJ, John (Yvonne) of Livingston, NJ and Thomasina of Bayonne, NJ.; his wife Angela; his sister Helen Loar (Jared); his grandchildren, Evan Carney, Krysti Strickley (Steven), Tracy Berfond (Jake), Valerie Carney, Shane Carney, Taylor Carney, Sean Carney, Alexandria DeJesus and Antonio DeJesus; and his great grandchildren, Andrew and Everett. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Leber Funeral Home (2000 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Union City, NJ 07087).
