She was predeceased by: her parents, Mario Ortiz and Estela Diaz. She is survived by: her husband Armando; her children, Marilyn and Alexander Fernandez; her grandsons, Matthew and Noah Loaces; and her brother Mario Ortiz.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Barquin Funeral Home (7101 Broadway, North Bergen, NJ 07093). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Family R. C. Church (530 35th St, Union City, NJ 07087).
