He was predeceased by: his siblings, Nicholas, John, Michael (Hodowanitz), Ann (Smotrosky) and Mary (Nidoh); his wife Mary; and his son Gregory Jr..

He is survived by: his daughter Carol; his son-in-law Emil Boychuk; his grandchildren, Peter Boychuk (Teresa Yeh) and Kristen Boychuk-Porasz (Neil Porasz); and his great grandchildren, Shepard, Atticus and Aviana Yeh-Boychuk.
