She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Kennedy and Alice Kennedy; and her siblings, James Kennedy and Alice Jo Anne Kennedy. She is survived by: her children, Andrew and Brynne; her husband Leslie Gaschler; her son-in-law Lenny; her grandsons, Robbie and Brady; her daughter-in-law Elena; her granddaughters, Allison and Isabella; her sister Sheila; her brother-in-law Sarge; her nephews, Conor and Colin; and her stepsons, Leslie and Paul.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to be made in Susan's name to JDRF Diabetes Foundation.
