She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Donna Dandrea (Frank), Deborah Burkholder (Terry), Diane Curland (Edward) and Col. David Filippi (Debra); her grandchildren, Christina Novicki (Vincent), Jana Dandrea, Michael Curland (Sol), James Curland and Elizabeth Curland; her great grandchildren, Calvin Novicki and Tate Curland; her daughter Denise; her son-in-law William Crowe; her parents, Emma Peluro and Nicholas Peluro; and her husband Delmo "Flip" Filippi.
The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Joanne's favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
