She was predeceased by: her daughter Carolyn Diane Trader; and her siblings, Ernest Slater, William Brent, Sr., Calvin Brent and John Slater.

She is survived by: her children, Betty Jeanette Green, Clarence Young, Jr., Amy Delores Powers, Lydia Jean Harden, Richard D. Harden, Sebena Mae Smith and Edna Gray Harden; and her sister Thelma Brown. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
