She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Joseph Griffin; her parents, Emma Ferguson and George Ferguson; and her siblings, George Ferguson, Maureen Ferrill, Joan Evans and Eileen Ferguson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Rooney (David) and Alexandra Fitzpatrick (Brendan); and her grandchildren, Riley, Madison, Ashley, Emma, Rosemarie and Fionnuala.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Hilary's name to St. Joseph's Indian School, 1301 N. Main Street, Chamberlain, SD 57325.
