With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Evernham (Waretown, New Jersey), born in Lakewood, New Jersey, who passed away on November 29, 2018 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Hilliard and Naomi Ada Stackhouse; and her former life partner James E. Higgins of Manahawkin, NJ.. She is survived by : her husband John Evernham of Vandenberg Village, CA; her children, Rick Rogers (Dana) of Paso Robles, CA and Susan Rogers-Schwartz (Curtis) of Santa Maria, CA; her grandchildren, Jessica Rogers-Johnson of Arroyo Grande, CA and Michael Rogers of Chandler, AZ; and her great grandchildren, Carson Rogers and Mabel Johnson.

Any donations would be appreciated in Joan's name to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org.
