She was predeceased by: her parents, Milan Milakovic and Catherine Milakovic; her siblings, John Milakovic, Mildred Lescanec and Georgeanne Hunter; and her husband William M. "Bill" Charles.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Bakanowsky and Lyn Gerber (Shane); her grandchildren, Kelli Konick (Ray), William Bakanowsky, Joshua Gerber (Sarah), Jessica Lantis (Paul) and Katelyn Bakanowsky; and her great grandchildren, Kirsten Konick, Kylie Konick, Royston Gerber, S. Calvin Lantis and Rutherford Gerber. She is also survived by many loving cousins, friends and nieces and nephews.
