The passing of June Margaret LaCanna in Avalon, New Jersey leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 3, 2025 at the age of 92. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Garcia and Lena Garcia; her husband Ralph J. LaCanna Sr.; and her siblings, Dorothy Grimes, Rosemary Zeller, Hilda Arceneaux and Peter LaCanna.
She is survived by: her sons, Ralph J. LaCanna Jr. (Michelle), Randal LaCanna (Heather), Ronald LaCanna (Mindee) and Robert LaCanna (Annette); and her grandchildren, Ryan (Kelly), Casey, Kyle, Zachary, Emily, Danielle and Nicholas.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Higgins Home For Funerals (752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung, NJ 07069). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in June's memory to the Watchung Volunteer Fire Department, 57 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ 07069.
