Pat" Twill passed away on Friday, August 17, 2018 at her home in Watchung. She grew up in Cranford and lived for the past 50 years in Watchung. Mrs. Twill was in the first graduating class at Rutger's Nursing School. She was the head nurse in the Orthopedic Department at Overlook Hospital in Summit. She left to become a full time mom to her 2 sons John and Edward. She loved to cook and traveled through the United States and to Europe. Her family was the most important part of her life. Mrs. Twill is predeceased by her husband, Edward Twill in 2004. Surviving are her sons, Edward Peter Twill, II and his wife, Karen Elizabeth and John Robert Twill and his wife, Colleen Marie; her sister, Virginia Andersen and her grandchildren, Clara Rosmarie Twill, Edward Peter Twill, III, John Walter Twill and Shannon Marie Twill. A visitation will be held on Monday, August 20th from 5 to 8 pm at Higgins Home for Funeral, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10 am at funeral home followed by interment at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield.
