She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Wayne; her son John; her daughter-in-law Karen of Florida; her granddaughters, Stacy Rach of Pittsburgh and Amy Meininger of Wantage; her stepgranddaughter Christine Fitzgerald of Vernon; her husband Robert; and her son Robert P. Fitzgerald. She was also cherished by five great-grandsons.
Fritzie was born in February of 1918 and in March the Spanish Flu Pandemic of 1918 began, so it appears she survived two pandemics refusing to yield to either.
