Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Emilie Renna of Wayne, New Jersey, born in East Orange, New Jersey, who passed away at the age of 87, on January 29, 2021. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Sico and Lucille Sico; her sister Mary Ann Black; her grandchild Shirley Hartye; her brother Dr. John Sico Jr. (Lisa); and her child Pat Sico (Jeanne). She was also cherished by son and grandchildren.
Renna won numerous National Science Foundation Scholarships which helped her financially to earn her ABD (All but the dissertation i.e., MA +30 credits) in 1960 from the University of Maryland.
