He was predeceased by: his parents, John Erman Best and Julia Bell Best; and his sibling Mickey Best. He is survived by: his siblings, Jimmy Best, Elwood Best, Lucille Dail and Louise Pate; his wife Joyce Faye Best; and his sister Christine Best.
