It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Conforti (Wayne, New Jersey), born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on March 29, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his former wife Yolanda; his sister Jackie; his wife Jacqueline; his children, Carmine Conforti of Belleville, Linda Tobin of Clifton, Patricia Adamek of Moonachie and Jerry (Myia Conforti) of Bloomfield; his stepsons, James Fierro (Olga) of Montville and William Fiero of Ramsey; his grandchildren, Courtney, Ashley, John, Jessica and Amanda; his stepgrandchildren, Jasmine, Jennifer and James; his great grandchildren, Derek and Adriana; and his siblings, Virginia DeRogatis (Tessy) of Barnegat, Mario Conforti of Roselle, Tessy Grapenthin of Pennington, Perry Conforti of Toms River and Carmine Conforti. He was also cherished by four children – two daughters and two sons.
Promoting the tenants of brotherly love, charity, justice, and fidelity, the Elks lodge was always such an enjoyable part of Jerry's life. He loved coming out on Friday nights to play cards with the guys and he was always willing to help out with the annual charity fundraisers in support of Camp Moore in Haskell and the Christmas in July celebration for the handicapped children.
