We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2025, at the age of 86, Alfred James Clayton Jr. of West Belmar, New Jersey, born in Neptune, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Alfred James leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Alfred James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Clayton (Roake); and his son Bruce Clayton. He is survived by: his son Steven Clayton (Kennth Clayton) of Wake Forest, NC; his grandchildren, John Clayton and Lana Clayton; and his great grandchild Finley Clayton.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the O'Brien Funeral Home (2028 NJ-35, Wall Township, NJ 07719). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
