She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas and Josephine; her brother Ralph Stango; and her son Mario Smeriglio. She is survived by: her husband William Smeriglio (Willie); her daughter Toni Damiano; her son-in-law Buddy Damiano; and her granddaughter Nikki Damiano.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Damiano Funeral Home (191 Franklin Ave, Long Branch, NJ 07740). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church (800 Ocean Ave N, Long Branch, NJ 07740).
