She was predeceased by : her husband Jose L. Suarez; her parents, Joyce M. Garsia and John Mirrer Jr.; her brother John David Mirrer; and her great-niece Serenity Dolan.

She is survived by : her son Jose M. Suarez; her sisters, Linda Curry (Thomas), Cynthia Cherry (Millard), Sandra Mayberry (Kevin) and Maryjane Cox (Roger); her nieces and nephews, Joseph Mirrer, Nerissa Mirrer, Tomara Whitaker, Jaime Rodriguez, William D. Mirrer, Amanda Rodriguez, Thomas Curry Jr., Teila Curry, Tailyn Curry, Sheila Mirrer, Ariel Mirrer, Jeffrey Cox and Emily Cox; her great-nephews, Jason Mirrer, EvanWhitaker, Tristan Mirrer, Eric Whitaker, Thomas Curry III, Trevor Curry and Tyler Curry; her great-niece Kylie Mirrer; and her pet Becky.
