He was predeceased by: his parents, Celia Balaez and Manuel Cuervo. He is survived by: his wife Marta Cuervo (Delgado); his children, Marta Cuervo Ostro (Michael), Jose Carlos Cuervo (Sara Vega) and Lizzett Cuervo Losas (Luis); his grandsons, Michael A. Sanchez and Alex Cuervo; and his friends, Evaristo, Magdalena, Guillermo, Alina, Yanis and Rode.
