He was predeceased by: his parents, Johann Benteler and Emilie Benteler; his wife Tereza Benteler; and his son Robert Benteler. He is survived by: his daughters, Angelika Irwin (Leland) of Toms River, NJ and Sylvia Nevadomski (John) of Horsham, PA; his brother Philip Benteler of Germany; his grandchildren, Crystal, Lee, Justin and Nikki; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Brianna and Carter Thomas; and his brother-in-law Wilfred Menninger. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
