He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Natalie Leftwich; his sibling Ezalia Leftwich; and his parents, Willie Lorenzo and Maude Ida Leftwich. He is survived by: his sons, George, Jr. and Brian Leftwich (Kara); his grandchildren, Samantha and Eli; his sibling Willie L. Leftwich; and his friend Gwynn Park.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John the Baptist Church (12319 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20904). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20906).
