It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sam A Koliopoulos of Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on July 29, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Apostolos Koliopoulos and Konstantina Koliopoulos; his siblings, Vasilios and Georgia Tsiampas; and his son-in-law John Petris.
He is survived by: his wife Konstantina Mavrogiannis (Dina); his daughters, Demetria Petris and Nina; his son-in-law Charles Anastasiou; his grandchildren, Michael, Samantha Anastasiou, John and Sam Petris; and his sister Athanasia Tatakis.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (250 Gallows Hill Rd, Westfield, NJ 07090). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery (1100 E Broad St, Westfield, NJ 07091).
