It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Joseph Gillespie Jr. of Westville, New Jersey, who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father John J. Gillespie Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Dolores Gillespie; his wife Patricia; his children, Heather Stevenson (Scott), John J. Gillespie IV, Jessica Heineman (Michael), Joseph Gillespie and Christian Gillespie; and his grandchildren, Chase, Anna and Izabelle. He is also survived by eight loving sisters, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and many friends.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McCann-Healey Funeral Home (851 Monmouth St, Gloucester City, NJ 08030). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Mary's R. C. Church (426 Monmouth St, Gloucester City, NJ 08030). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Wenonah Cemetery (390 Wenonah Ave, Mantua Township, NJ 08051).
