We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2023, at the age of 96, Dorothy Anna Oravetz in Whippany, New Jersey, born in Irvington, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul and Paulina; her siblings, Paul, Robert and Mary (Hopkins); and her nephew Michael Hopkins.

She is survived by : her nephews, Paul Hopkins and Tom Oravetz; her niece Nancy Miller; her great-nieces, Rebecca Miller and Laura Miller; and also, Oliver and Owen Moore.

Funeral: Memorial Mass details will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 90 Whippany Road, on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. Committal: Immediately following the Mass at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover Memorial Gifts: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dorothy's honor to St. Jude's Children's Fund or the Special Olympics.
