He was predeceased by: his father Ernest DeRosa Sr.; his sister Constance DeRosa; and his stepchildren, Kimberley Smith and Michael DesRuisseau. He is survived by: his mother Rose DeRosa of Plainfield, NJ; his sister Gabrielle (Michael Aiello) of Pocono Lake, PA; his nephew Thomas Aiello of Scotch Plains; his stepchildren, Anita Hergert and Jamie DesRuisseau; his grandchildren, Paul, Ashley, Brittany Smith, Robert, Jessica, Herman "Joey" Hergert, Derek Sonatore and Courtney DesRuisseau; and his great grandchildren, Kimberley Sanchez and Ethan Neal.
