He was predeceased by: his wife Betty O'Donnell; his brother Tommy; and his grandson Michael. He is survived by: his children, John O'Donnell and Denise Bowen; his siblings, Victor, Billy, Paul, David, Judy, Barbara, Carol and Maria; and his granddaughters, Brittany and Jacqueline.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
